Berkley. The day I had been thinking about for a while. I had been itching to come here. The problem is that I don't get to practice enough here to get geared up for it. I would have to be here early. But my mind was set on the sights of flips, 80s music and jackpots. I also saw a few new games which I loved. I was mainly hoping that I would have a good performance here. -Star Wars: My excitement suddenly tanked when this game came up for me. I seriously hate this game. I cannot hit anything for the life of me. Of course everyone else gets over 300M and I am barely at 27M going on ball 3. I'm player 4. I was expecting last. Literally. I did get Tie Fighter Multiball. Okay, I got a little life put back in me. I thought I was going to get somewhere when I got Lightsaber Duel. NOPE. I came in 3rd. -The Uncanny X-Men: I don't know what's worse: Star Wars or this game. The only difference is that I was actually leading after ball 2. Ball 3 comes in and every one gets something going, EXCEPT me and player 4. And somehow, I didn't get last. So really a 3rd was like a win, even thought it wasn't. -King Kong: I had a little more confidence in this game. Until I find myself in a 128M hole after the first ball. And I thought I was getting somewhere but I didn't do enough to catch up. I came in 2nd. It was my best game in the tournament, which is not saying much really. -Walking Dead Remastered: As much as I did not want to play this, I did exceptionally well starting from ball 1. I got into a mode where I started hitting things and I was a bit thrown off, like: how did I do this? Walking Dead isn't one of my favorites but I hit shots just enough to get certain things to happen and it turned out far better than I expected, all the way to the point where I actually dominated. Which was a shocker to me. I won, but I couldn't really celebrate, because I had like very little experience in this game. It's as rare and random as winning on Star Wars (because it barely happens). -Dungeons and Dragons: I imagine if I actually got the Dragon Multiball. I probably would have fared a lot better. Maybe even won. NOPE. I missed not once, not twice, but THREE times. They were pretty much house balls. I hit absolutely NOTHING. It was equivalent of rolling a '1' three times. That was how horrendous that was. I obvioulsy came in last. 5 rounds. That was it. I didn't even qualify for playoffs. Terrific. My performance at Berkley has been getting worse and worse. After winning one, performing in the top, now I have gone two straight tournaments without even making it tp the playoffs! Additionally, 19th is pretty much disastrous. The games I really did NOT want to play in the tournament I end up getting. Only one of them I did exceptional on, and that was Walking Dead Remastered of all games. It was just all bad. There are three tournaments I am looking at next: Thursday in Grosse Pointe, Saturday in Monroe, and next Tuesday at Offworld. Let's just see if I can get past this one. Because this one sucked the life out of me. PLACE: 19th | GRADE: F |
